Behind the Brand: Hello from Portland!

If you landed on VyralRemix.com expecting a massive, faceless corporation run by algorithms, I have a confession to make:

It’s just me. I’m Gary.

I live in Portland, Oregon, the land of rain, coffee, and—in my case—an obsession with movies and pop culture.

While the name "VyralRemix" might sound high-tech, the heart of this shop is very human. My background is in the creative arts—spanning graphic design, product development, and even furniture and home design. I’ve spent my life focusing on aesthetics and details, and I realized I wanted to apply that design eye to the fandoms I love most.

Why I Started This

The idea for this shop was born out of frustration. As a massive fan of the Back to the Future franchise (seriously, I have flown 100's of 1000's of miles to fan events), I found myself constantly hunting for gear that didn’t exist.

I’d search for a specific design, only to find that it wasn't available, or worse—it wasn't available in my size (I'm a 4x). I realized that if I couldn't find high-quality fun designs for the fandoms I loved in my size, other people were probably struggling too.

So, I decided to design and source them myself.

Solving the "Couples Conundrum"

One of my biggest goals with VyralRemix is to help couples express their shared fandoms without looking like carbon copies of each other.

I noticed that whenever I saw couples in matching outfits at a movie premiere or a convention and the guy was wearing a cool shirt  - his lady was wearing something home made.  The only "store bought" option was usually the exact same shirt for both of them. But here’s the thing: ladies don't always want to wear a "Men's Small."  SO what if you don't have time or don't have the tools (or talent) to create something at home?

I want to make it easy for couples to match themes while wearing apparel that actually fits their individual style—whether that’s a fitted tee, a tank, skirt, dress, leggings, or something entirely different.
